On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), on the morning of April 25, Major General Tran Phu Ha, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department visited and presented gifts to policy families and Dien Bien soldiers in Yen Dinh district.

Director of the Provincial Police Department Tran Phu Ha and the delegation visited and presented gifts to the families of martyrs Trinh Van Bong and Tran Tang, Dinh Tan commune; Mrs. Trinh Thi Mien, a frontline laborer, Mr. Dong Huu Thao, a Dien Bien soldier; Mr. Dong Huu Tuat, a Dien Bien soldier, Dinh Hai commune and relatives of Mr. Trinh Dinh Bam, Dinh Lien commune, a frontline laborer, who used the family altar to make a wheelbarrow to transport goods to serve the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
Major General Tran Phu Ha, Standing Committee Member, Director of the Provincial Police Department and Comrade Trinh Xuan Thuy, Provincial Party Committee Member, District Party Committee Secretary presented gifts to Dien Bien soldiers and policy families.
Dien Bien soldier Dong Huu Tuat (100 years old, Dinh Hai commune) expressed his excitement at the attention of the provincial and district leaders and units in the working delegation.
Dien Bien soldiers and representatives of martyrs' relatives expressed their gratitude to the working delegation.
Expressing deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of Dien Bien soldiers, the Provincial Police Director and representatives of Yen Dinh district leaders visited the health and living conditions of Dien Bien soldiers and the relatives of the martyrs and families of policy beneficiaries. They wished that Dien Bien soldiers would take care of their health, be a spiritual support, and encourage their families and children to continue to strive to develop the economy and build their homeland to be more and more prosperous.
The delegation offered incense to pay tribute to martyr Tran Tang, Dinh Tan commune.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Director of the Provincial Police presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee to Dien Bien soldiers and martyrs' families; at the same time, requested the Party Committee and authorities of Yen Dinh district and localities to continue to pay attention, take care of, and well implement the regime and policy of "repaying gratitude" of the Party and State for families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people, including former Dien Bien soldiers, former youth volunteers, and frontline laborers who directly served the Dien Bien Phu campaign.
Comrade Trinh Xuan Thuy, Provincial Party Committee member, District Party Committee Secretary presented a gift to Mr. Dong Huu Thao, a Dien Bien soldier in Dinh Hai commune.
On this occasion, Yen Dinh district leaders also presented gifts to policy families and Dien Bien soldiers.
