THILOGI aims to turn Chu Lai into an international logistics center with the most optimal cost.

THILOGI sets a strategic goal of turning Chu Lai into an international logistics center with logistics costs equal to those of the North and South, thereby attracting many investors to Quang Nam and neighboring provinces, creating opportunities to connect many customers and goods sources from the Central Highlands, Laos, and Cambodia to Chu Lai port for export. To achieve this goal, in 2024, THILOGI will proactively and synchronously carry out specific tasks such as:

Complete and put into operation a 50,000-ton port with a large-capacity specialized crane system; dredge the Ky Ha channel in phase 2 with a depth of -10m to improve the capacity to receive ships, gradually developing Chu Lai Port into a specialized container port in the Central region, an international transit gateway.

Cooperate and link with shipping lines to diversify international shipping routes through Chu Lai port; promote forwarding services, invest and develop domestic shipping services to connect domestic and international cargo routes.

Planning the road logistics network (including routes and transit stations) and arranging suitable means of transport for each route to optimally exploit the means of transport, combining convection transport of diverse sources of goods.

Invest in means, equipment and organize operations in a specialized and synchronous manner, suitable for output at each stage to reduce operating costs and improve competitiveness.

Coordinate with departments and agencies of Quang Nam province to promote investment in Cua Lo route to attract large-capacity ships to diversify international transport routes to Chu Lai port.

Adhering to specific strategies and developing human resources are two tasks that THILOGI will carry out in parallel and throughout the 5-year plan (2023 - 2027). Therefore, in addition to promoting the proposed strategies, THILOGI focuses on training, improving management capacity, building a team of professional staff with a high sense of responsibility, honesty and dedication to work.
