In the late afternoon and night, mountainous and midland areas of the North will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places with rainfall of 20-40mm, and over 80mm in some places.

Thanh Hoa to Da Nang , the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa are hot, some places are extremely hot. The highest temperature is commonly 35-37 degrees Celsius, some places are over 37 degrees Celsius. Humidity 55-60%.

The Central Highlands and the South have showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places. Rainfall is 10-30mm, with over 50mm in some places (rain is concentrated in the late afternoon).

Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains may cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
