On January 8, the Traffic and Order Police Team (Thanh Mien District Police) announced that the unit had just fined Mr. L.D.H. (born in 1990) in Dai Hop Commune (Tu Ky) 24 million VND for speeding and not obeying the orders of the police.

Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. on January 5, the traffic police force of Thanh Mien district discovered Mr. L.D.H. driving car 34H-020.XX violating the speed limit on provincial road 392B in Thanh Giang commune. At this time, the police force signaled to stop the car for inspection, but Mr. H. did not comply and continued to drive the car "through the checkpoint" and run away.

The Thanh Mien District Traffic and Order Police Team fined Mr. H. 19 million VND for not obeying the traffic control officer's orders and 5 million VND for speeding from 10 to 20 km/h.

In 2024, the Thanh Mien District Traffic and Order Police Team fined 1,144 cases of speeding violations with a total amount of over 2 billion VND.
