Agree on the plan to merge the two Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang

On the afternoon of April 20, in Ha Giang city, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang provinces held a conference to discuss and agree on the merger project between the two agencies.

After approving the organizational structure report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang provinces, delegates actively participated in discussing and proposing a merger plan between the two Departments to soon draft the Project.

Accordingly, it is expected that after the merger and unification, the project will maintain the number of more than 420 civil servants, public employees and workers working in the functional management departments at the Department and the public service units under the two Departments; at the same time, identify difficulties and obstacles, propose recommendations to all levels when merging the two Departments, including the proposal to establish the Legal Department, the Tourism Promotion Center, the necessity of establishing the Cultural, Information and Tourism Center at the commune level. The leaders of the two Departments also agreed to establish a Working Group, urgently draft the Merger Project, and send it to the Department of Home Affairs for synthesis and reporting.

Previously, leaders of the two Departments offered incense at the Vi Xuyen National Martyrs' Cemetery and the Memorial Temple for Heroes and Martyrs at the 468th peak of the Vi Xuyen front, as well as inspected and surveyed the infrastructure system and cultural and sports institutions of public service units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Giang province in Ha Giang city.
