Approving the plan to organize the 80th Anniversary of the Provincial Armed Forces' Traditional Day

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of August 20, the Provincial Military Command held a conference to approve activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Thanh Hoa province (August 24, 1945 - August 24, 2025) and receive the First Class Fatherland Protection Medal. Colonel Vu Van Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, chaired the conference.

On that basis, leaders of departments and offices discussed and contributed ideas to perfect the Celebration organization plan, ensuring it is tight, thoughtful, and effective.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Vu Van Tung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, emphasized: The celebration is an important political event of profound significance, aiming to review the 80-year tradition of building, fighting and growing of the provincial armed forces; at the same time, propagandizing, educating, raising awareness, fostering pride and responsibility of officers, soldiers of the armed forces and people in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

He requested that departments, offices and units continue to promote the spirit of responsibility, closely cooperate, and coordinate in organizing activities and the ceremony to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the provincial armed forces' tradition, and receive the First Class Fatherland Protection Medal, ensuring solemnity, meaning and compliance with regulations.
