In July, The Information also revealed that Apple is developing a foldable iPhone codenamed 'V68', which is expected to have a clamshell design similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip or Motorola's Razr.
One of the biggest challenges Apple faces is overcoming the crease that forms on the screen when folded. However, with cooperation with partners like Samsung Display, it is likely that "Apple" will soon solve this problem.
The Information also predicts that the foldable iPhone could launch in 2026, while The Elec believes that Apple will likely choose 2027, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the iPhone launch and the 10th anniversary of the first iPhone equipped with an OLED screen.
While the official launch date remains a mystery, Apple's partnership with display manufacturers shows that the tech giant is gradually turning the idea of a foldable iPhone into a reality.
