Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, a retired official (Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province) visited her in-laws in Hanoi on this occasion, and also experienced the atmosphere of the country's Independence Day. Ms. Lan emotionally shared: “I have been to Hanoi many times. Mr. Le Hoang Ha, an official of the Department of Finance ( Ho Chi Minh City) was in Hanoi from the morning of August 28 to watch the rehearsal of the Anniversary Ceremony, the parade, and the march at Ba Dinh Square. After that, he and his family rented an electric car to visit Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter. Mr. Ha shared: “Being in Hanoi on this occasion is very special. All people become closer to each other because of the “string” of national solidarity. Everyone shares together the love for the country, the beautiful national pride”.
Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Anh from Binh Phuoc Ward (Dong Nai Province) said that her whole family took a flight to Hanoi to join in the atmosphere of Independence Day. Her family has made a plan for their stay in the capital, with the itinerary to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hoan Kiem Lake and visit the National Achievements exhibition with the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" at the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi. Ms. Kim Anh shared: "From yesterday until now, the weather in Hanoi has been pleasant, quite cool, so the family's sightseeing trip is more exciting".
