Hanoi capital is brilliant with flags and flowers to celebrate Independence Day

(ĐN) - Before the National Day on September 2, all the streets, alleys and lanes in Hanoi were filled with red flags with yellow stars flying. Thousands of tourists from all over the country and many foreign tourists came to Hanoi to welcome and experience the atmosphere of Independence Day.

From the historic Ba Dinh Square to Hoan Kiem Lake and Thang Long Imperial Citadel, red flags with yellow stars are everywhere, along with banners and slogans celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2. Many people said: Coming to the capital Hanoi this time is a special experience in life. Hanoi is so beautiful and close.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, a retired official (Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province) visited her in-laws in Hanoi on this occasion, and also experienced the atmosphere of the country's Independence Day. Ms. Lan emotionally shared: “I have been to Hanoi many times. Every time I visit, I feel happy because the capital is increasingly developing and modernizing but still maintaining its elegant identity. Especially during this visit to Hanoi, the atmosphere was bustling, everywhere you could see the red flag with yellow star fluttering in the wind, people's hearts were even more bustling, feeling like they were young again. I will stay here to fully experience the atmosphere of National Day September 2, especially this year."

This year's National Day holiday on September 2nd is also a long holiday, so many people have come to Hanoi to watch the parade, march, and enjoy the atmosphere of the nation's Independence Day. Anyone who comes to the capital these days brings with them patriotism, national pride, and especially cannot miss the shirt with the red flag with yellow star and the S-shaped map printed on it to join in the common joy of the nation.

Mr. Le Hoang Ha, an official of the Department of Finance ( Ho Chi Minh City) was in Hanoi from the morning of August 28 to watch the rehearsal of the Anniversary Ceremony, the parade, and the march at Ba Dinh Square. After that, he and his family rented an electric car to visit Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter. Mr. Ha shared: “Being in Hanoi on this occasion is very special. All people become closer to each other because of the “string” of national solidarity. Everyone shares together the love for the country, the beautiful national pride”.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Anh from Binh Phuoc Ward (Dong Nai Province) said that her whole family took a flight to Hanoi to join in the atmosphere of Independence Day. Her family has made a plan for their stay in the capital, with the itinerary to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hoan Kiem Lake and visit the National Achievements exhibition with the theme "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" at the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi. Ms. Kim Anh shared: "From yesterday until now, the weather in Hanoi has been pleasant, quite cool, so the family's sightseeing trip is more exciting".
