On October 7, the Drug Administration Department sent a document to the health departments of provinces and cities; Vinamake Joint Stock Company (address: Group 8, Le Thanh Tong Street, Hoa Binh Ward, Phu Tho Province) regarding the suspension of circulation and recall of cosmetic products.
Accordingly, the Drug Administration Department announced the suspension of circulation and nationwide recall of 3 products: DR. Hair Ginger Shampoo, DR. Ginger Shampoo, and nano silver feminine hygiene solution with perfume scent, all under the Vinamake brand.
The Drug Administration stated that because the cosmetic product sample was examined at the Institute of Criminal Science of the Ministry of Public Security and did not detect some substances as stated in the ingredients on the product label and packaging, the Economic Police Department - Phu Tho Provincial Police concluded that it was "counterfeit goods".
The Drug Administration recommends not trading or using the above 3 violating products. Return the products to the supplier and promptly report to the authorities when these products are discovered.
At the same time, recall the above-mentioned violating products; inspect and supervise units implementing this notice; handle violating units according to current regulations;
Direct the testing center to increase sampling and quality inspection of cosmetic products circulating in the area; set up a hotline to receive information about fake cosmetics, smuggled cosmetics, and cosmetics of unknown origin in the area to promptly coordinate with competent authorities to verify and handle.
