Recovering nearly 573 million VND in late payment of social insurance and health insurance in the first 3 months of the year

According to statistics, in the first 3 months of 2025, Ha Tinh Provincial Social Insurance organized 3 inspections, checks, and recovered nearly 573 million VND in late payment of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.

Through inspection and examination, the provincial Social Insurance has requested a number of units and enterprises to register for social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for 29 employees, paying back more than 20 million VND; adjusting the increase and decrease of the contribution level and the process of participating in social insurance and health insurance for 154 employees with an amount of nearly 291 million VND. Recovering the amount of late payment of nearly 573 million VND; recovering 8 cases of receiving social insurance benefits in violation of regulations with an amount of more than 17.5 million VND.

In the coming time, the Inspection and Examination Department will continue to closely monitor information and the production and business activities of units; strengthen propaganda work so that employers comply with legal regulations on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance for employees./.
