This morning, the family of Ms. Pham Thi Buoi - mother of candidate Tran Duc Tai (from Ca Mau ) woke up at 4am, filled with excitement and anxiety, waiting for the moment to know their son's exam score. When they heard that Tai got a perfect score, the whole family burst into joy and emotion.
"I knew my child was a good student, but I never thought he could get such a perfect score. Until now, I still can't believe it's true," Ms. Buoi said, choking up.
After completing the exams, Duc Tai called his parents to tell them that he did well, but he was still worried that he might have made some mistakes during the exam. He did not bring the exam papers home, nor did he look up the answers, just to avoid putting more pressure on himself.

I am Tran Duc Tai.
Ms. Buoi said that since he was in 8th grade, Duc Tai wanted to become a doctor. Determined to pursue that dream, the male student boldly convinced his parents to let him leave his hometown of Ca Mau to go to Ho Chi Minh City to study high school, even though he knew that studying far away from home would be challenging.
“He said he wanted to go to the city to practice, improve his knowledge, prepare best for the high school graduation exam and the journey to enter the medical field, to become a doctor,” Ms. Buoi emotionally recalled.
Sharing his study secrets, Duc Tai spends about 3-4 hours a day studying, but always puts quality first instead of chasing after the number of study hours. The male student often does many practice tests, carefully analyzing each mistake so as not to repeat them.
What surprised many people was that throughout his studies, Tai did not attend any external exam preparation classes. The 10X chose to study at school and self-study, making the most of his time and the lectures of his teachers. “I do not take extra classes outside. I believe in the official curriculum and timetable built by the school. For me, studying must have a clear plan, be focused and especially require self-discipline,” Duc Tai shared.
Scientific learning methods, self-discipline and determination to pursue his dream have helped the male student achieve proud results, a worthy reward for his persistent efforts over the past time.
