Wishing both teams to make every effort to achieve the best results, the Prime Minister said that regardless of the results of the matches, the most important thing is that the players compete, give their all with a noble sportsmanship spirit, overcome and conquer themselves, and satisfy the expectations of the fans, for the sake of the flag and colors of the Fatherland.

On this occasion, the two teams presented their team jerseys to the two Prime Ministers.

Australian Ambassador Andrew Goledzinowski said that sport is an important part of both Australian and Vietnamese culture. "We want to encourage the development of sport for women and girls and demonstrate the power of sport to change lives and promote gender equality," he said.
