According to Associate Professor, Dr. To Van Hai - Chairman of the Hanoi Internal Medicine Association, internal medicine is one of the main pillars of the health sector, playing an important role in health care, disease prevention and improving the quality of life for people. Notably, internal medicine treatment is not only limited to drug treatment but also combined with invasive techniques such as: cardiovascular intervention; stroke; interventional gastric or bronchial endoscopy; intensive care; application of digital technology in patient diagnosis and monitoring.
With the advancement of digital technology , medical solutions not only help improve the ability to diagnose more accurately, but also help optimize treatment regimens, thereby shortening treatment time, reducing costs and improving the quality of life for patients.

The second session had the theme "Update on diagnosis and treatment of outstanding cases" with 9 scientific reports covering the following contents: Determining the rate of prediabetes and some related factors in primary hypertensive patients examined and treated as outpatients; clinical and paraclinical characteristics of patients with thyroid nodules; current situation and some factors related to treatment compliance of pulmonary tuberculosis patients at the respiratory clinic; benefits of SGLT2 in type 2 diabetic patients with a wide range of cardiovascular risks...
