Ha Tinh Department of Industry and Trade has just issued a document on implementing the Prime Minister's telegram and the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on ensuring gasoline supply in 2024.
Pursuant to Document No. 532/UBND-KT 2 dated January 26, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing Official Dispatch No. 09/CD-TTg dated January 24, 2024 of the Prime Minister on ensuring adequate supply of gasoline for production, business and consumption during the 2024 Lunar New Year and the coming time, the Department of Industry and Trade requests departments, branches, units, localities, key enterprises, distributors, agents and retail gasoline stores in the province to promptly implement related contents.
Do not interrupt the supply of gasoline in the business system.
Accordingly, it is necessary to seriously implement the Prime Minister's instructions in the following Official Dispatches: No. 09/CD-TTg dated January 24, 2024, No. 1437/CD-TTg dated December 30, 2023 and Directive No. 01/CT-BCT dated January 2, 2024 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on ensuring adequate supply of gasoline for production, business and consumption during the Lunar New Year 2024 and the coming time.
Continue to strictly implement the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in the following Documents: No. 630/UBND-KT 2 dated February 10, 2022, No. 1474/UBND-KT 2 dated March 30, 2022, No. 5264/UBND-KT 2 dated September 19, 2022 and No. 289/UBND-KT 2 dated January 26, 2024 on ensuring adequate supply of gasoline for production, business and consumption during the Lunar New Year 2024 and the coming time; at the same time, strengthen inspection and supervision work, avoid interruption of gasoline supply in the business system; maintain sales activities at gasoline retail stores of enterprises according to regulations.
Propose that the Provincial Market Management Department continue to strengthen the management of the area, deploy professional measures, coordinate with functional forces to conduct inspections and closely monitor petroleum business units (key traders, importers and exporters, distributors, agents, petroleum retail stores) to promptly detect acts of hoarding, creating scarcity of petroleum supply, stopping supply, retailing petroleum that does not comply with regulations and other related violations; regularly inspect, supervise, and urge the implementation of the "Commitment to comply with legal regulations in petroleum business activities" of key traders and petroleum distributors signed with the Department of Industry and Trade and the Provincial Market Management Department (January 16, 2024).
At the same time, preside over and coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Provincial Steering Committee 389 and related departments, branches and localities according to assigned functions and tasks to continue to strengthen inspection and supervision to promptly detect, prevent and strictly handle acts of speculation, hoarding of goods, smuggling of gasoline and oil, violations of regulations on gasoline trading, regulations on electronic invoices...
The Department of Information and Communications directs and guides media agencies and press to provide complete, timely and accurate information on the supply of petroleum; policies and directions of the Government, ministries, branches and provincial People's Committees on ensuring the supply of petroleum for the market, avoiding reporting damage, causing confusion and market instability.
Provincial Radio and Television Station and Ha Tinh Newspaper promptly and accurately report and broadcast information related to petroleum business such as: supply sources, prices, responsibilities of enterprises and petroleum stores according to the provisions of law...
The People's Committees of districts, cities and towns continue to direct the economic infrastructure/economic departments and the People's Committees at the commune level, in coordination with the departments, offices, and local management teams of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Provincial Steering Committee 389, the Market Management Department and related departments and branches, to strengthen inspection and closely monitor the sale of gasoline at retail gasoline stores in the area, ensuring that sales are not interrupted, especially before the gasoline price adjustment cycle; not affecting the operations of gasoline business units. In case of detecting that gasoline stores have stopped selling without the approval of the Department of Industry and Trade, there are signs of hoarding goods, reducing output, and reducing sales time against regulations for profiteering, promptly report to the Department of Industry and Trade and the Ha Tinh Market Management Department for strict handling according to the provisions of law.
Disseminate through mass media to the people full, timely and accurate information about the supply of gasoline and oil, gasoline and oil prices in the area, and the responsibilities of gasoline and oil trading units according to the provisions of law; publicly disclose violating gasoline and oil trading enterprises and stores.
