During the past term, the Party Committee of Reconnaissance Group No. 2 has thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented resolutions and directives from all levels, successfully fulfilled its functions and tasks, and contributed to maintaining security and sovereignty over the seas and islands of the Fatherland.

The unit directly conducts reconnaissance, detection, and combats violations in the sea area under its responsibility. 100% of officers and soldiers are assured of their work, overcome difficulties, and maintain security, order, and safety at sea. In addition, the unit promotes political education, ideological management; emulation, reward, and the Emulation Movement for Victory are effectively implemented, creating a foundation for improving overall quality and combat strength.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee and commander of Reconnaissance Group No. 2 determined to continue to effectively organize and implement resolutions and directives, focus on leading the successful completion of combat readiness and reconnaissance tasks, as well as improve training quality, ensure accurate information, timely reporting, and avoid being passive or surprised in any situation.

Along with that, the unit improves the leadership capacity, fighting strength of the grassroots party organization and the quality of the contingent of cadres and party members, linking the building of a clean and strong grassroots party organization, a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical".

The Party Committee and the commander of Reconnaissance Group No. 2 continue to coordinate with the Party Committee, authorities, and socio-political organizations to effectively carry out propaganda and mobilize local people to confidently go offshore and stick to the sea, together with functional forces to maintain the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
