On September 17th, the People's Committee of Lung Cu commune, Tuyen Quang province, announced that it had issued a report confirming that the information circulating on social media about tourism service prices in Lo Lo Chai village being "three times higher than the actual cost" is untrue.
Previously, information appeared on social media reflecting the situation of high service prices in Lo Lo Chai cultural tourism village. Immediately after becoming aware of the matter, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Lung Cu commune directed the People's Committee of the commune to quickly investigate and verify the situation.

A task force has been established to work directly with the Cultural Tourism Village Management Board and all 51 service businesses in the village, including homestays, restaurants, and snack stalls.
As a result of the verification report, 100% of businesses in Lo Lo Chai strictly adhere to price listing regulations and sell at the listed prices. The task force did not detect any cases of businesses taking advantage of the festival or the large number of visitors to arbitrarily increase prices. The service prices publicly displayed at the businesses are as follows:
Accommodation services: Dormitory rooms: 100,000 - 200,000 VND/person. Private rooms (not enclosed): 250,000 - 500,000 VND/room. Enclosed rooms with full amenities: 500,000 - under 1,000,000 VND/room. Premium rooms (including breakfast, herbal foot bath, etc.): from over 1,000,000 to under 1,500,000 VND/room.
Food and beverage services: Set menu meals: 150,000 - 250,000 VND/person. Drinks: 10,000 - under 50,000 VND. Snacks: 5,000 - 30,000 VND/item.
Souvenir products: All products are priced directly and have clear information about their origin.
The report also pointed out that the information shared on social media came from an anonymous account, did not specify which establishment the service was used at, and did not provide any evidence (receipts, photos, etc.). Therefore, the authorities lacked sufficient grounds to consider and resolve the matter according to regulations.
The People's Committee of Lung Cu commune affirmed that the above information has negatively impacted the image of local tourism. At the same time, the commune government pledged to continue strengthening management and protecting the legitimate rights of tourists.
In the coming period, the commune will focus on training human resources, developing distinctive tourism products, improving infrastructure, and promoting traditional cultural values to build an image of Lung Cu as a safe, friendly, and civilized tourist destination.
