On September 17, according to information from the People's Committee of Lung Cu commune, Tuyen Quang province, it has just issued a report confirming that the information spreading on social networks about the price of tourism services in Lo Lo Chai village being "3 times more expensive than the actual price" is not true.
Previously, information appeared on social networks reflecting the situation of high service prices in Lo Lo Chai cultural tourism village. Immediately after learning about the incident, the Standing Committee of Lung Cu Commune Party Committee directed the Commune People's Committee to quickly investigate and verify.

A Working Group has been established to work directly with the Management Board of the cultural tourism village and all 51 service businesses in the village, including homestays, restaurants and snack shops.
As a result, according to the verification report, 100% of businesses in Lo Lo Chai strictly implemented the price posting and sold at the listed price. The working group did not detect any cases of taking advantage of the festival or the large number of visitors to arbitrarily increase prices. The service prices are publicly announced at the businesses as follows:
Accommodation services: Dormitory room: 100,000 - 200,000 VND/person. Private room without private bathroom: 250,000 - 500,000 VND/room. Private room with full amenities: 500,000 - under 1,000,000 VND/room. Luxury room (including breakfast, herbal foot bath...): from over 1,000,000 to under 1,500,000 VND/room.
Food service: Meals according to menu: 150,000 - 250,000 VND/person. Drinks: 10,000 - under 50,000 VND. Snacks: 5,000 - 30,000 VND/dish.
Souvenir products: All products have direct price listing and clear origin information.
The report also pointed out that the information reflected on social networks was from an anonymous account, did not specify which facility the service was used at, and did not provide any evidence (invoices, images, etc.). Therefore, the authorities did not have enough basis to consider and resolve the matter according to regulations.
Lung Cu Commune People’s Committee affirmed that the above information has negatively affected the image of local tourism. At the same time, the commune government pledged to continue to strengthen management and protect the legitimate rights of tourists.
In the coming time, the commune will focus on training human resources, developing unique tourism products, improving infrastructure and promoting traditional cultural values to build a safe, friendly and civilized Lung Cu tourism image.
