Conceding a last-minute goal, Hanoi Police FC drew 1-1 with Ha Tinh.

On the evening of May 24th, at the Ha Tinh stadium, Ha Tinh drew 1-1 with Hanoi Police in Round 24 of the V.League. Both goals came in injury time of the second half from penalty kicks. Leo Artur scored the opening goal for the visitors, but Charles Atshimene equalized just before the end of the match.

Hanoi Police FC entered the match as the newly crowned champions of the 2025-2026 V.League and still aimed to break the league's points record. However, coach Alexandre Polking fielded a team missing several key players such as Nguyen Quang Hai and Nguyen Dinh Bac. Meanwhile, Ha Tinh had already secured their survival in the league and entered the match with a more relaxed mindset.

The visiting team dominated possession for most of the match. Hanoi Police held 68% of the ball, took 10 shots, and had 4 on target. However, Ha Tinh did not defend passively. The home team only held possession for 32%, but still had 7 shots, also with 4 on target.

The first half saw Hanoi Police players dominate possession, but the number of clear chances was not significantly different. Leo Artur hit the post in the 6th minute, creating the most notable opportunity for the visitors. Ha Tinh then responded with a shot from Atshimene inside the penalty area, but goalkeeper Thanh Vinh made a successful save.

After the break, the game became more open. Hanoi Police FC continued to maintain possession, but Ha Tinh had more space to counter-attack. The home team created 5 shots in the second half, 3 of which were on target.

The real drama unfolded in injury time. In the 90+2 minute, Hanoi Police were awarded a penalty, and Leo Artur scored to open the scoring. Just when it seemed the visitors would win, Ha Tinh had a similar opportunity in the 90+7 minute. Atshimene didn't miss, equalizing the score at 1-1 for the home team.
