Enjoy the Spring Colors paintings by young artist Nguyen Dang Hai Nam

(CLO) On the afternoon of December 22, at the Exhibition House No. 16 Ngo Quyen (Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi ), the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Spring Colors" by young artist Nguyen Dang Hai Nam (14 years old) took place, attracting a large number of the capital's public to visit and enjoy.

The exhibition brings nearly 40 watercolor paintings of the countryside, street corners, and simple but poetic childhood scenes to the public in Hanoi. Hai Nam's works mainly depict the beauty of the Vietnamese countryside, familiar, simple but very lively and emotional street corners.

Each painting is like a letter expressing love for the homeland, with peaceful, familiar scenes such as rice villages, alleys, dawns or countryside afternoons.

Hai Nam’s paintings mainly capture familiar images in the countryside on the outskirts of Hanoi. Simple scenes such as ripe rice fields, winding village roads, or images of grandmothers and mothers appearing in those beloved houses and country roads.

In addition to the countryside, Hai Nam also depicts the streets of the capital in a realistic and emotional way. The old bicycles, sidewalk cafes and the dark brown tiled roofs of ancient houses all appear quite delicately.

Commenting on Hai Nam's paintings, artist Le Tien Vuong - head of the Artstar children's art club of Thieu Nien Tien Phong newspaper said: "Nguyen Dang Hai Nam uses watercolors quite skillfully, with a combination of color and light with bright, gentle color tones, both expressing the beauty of nature and bringing a feeling of warmth and peace.

Hai Nam's painting style is strongly influenced by traditional art styles, but has a modern feel in color combinations and spatial perception. Hai Nam's watercolor painting technique is very sophisticated. He knows how to use gentle layers of color, each layer blending together to create a harmonious, gentle, eye-catching natural light effect, demonstrating his ingenuity and sensitivity in perceiving and mastering colors.
