The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee gives opinions on a number of socio-economic development policies.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, departments, branches, districts and cities.

Provincial Party Secretary Chau Van Lam chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and gave their opinions on reports on the results of public investment disbursement in 2024; reports on the construction progress of key works and projects of the province; tasks, solutions, and implementation plans for the next phase; reports on the progress of state budget revenue and expenditure in 2024, tasks, solutions, and implementation plans for the next phase; upgrading the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang ; Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressways; adjusting the policy of the Waste Treatment Plant Project in Nhu Khe Commune (Yen Son), the termination of the project of the Gasoline Store in Cau Cheo Village, Doi Binh Commune (Yen Son), and additional funding for 2024.

Regarding the progress of disbursement of public investment capital in 2024, up to now, 26.5% of the plan has been achieved, of which the central budget capital reached 33.4% of the plan; local budget capital reached 16.6% of the plan. The results show that thanks to the proactive leadership and direction of implementation, the progress of implementation and disbursement of public investment capital of a number of basic projects is ensured according to the set plan, the disbursement rate and absolute value are higher than the same period in 2023.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested that departments and branches speed up the appraisal of projects, proactively coordinate with investors to thoroughly resolve difficulties, obstacles, and arising issues, strictly handle cases of hoarding, price gouging, and price-cutting of construction materials for personal gain; proactively urge and guide investors to complete settlement documents.

Regarding budget revenue, as of May 7, the total state budget revenue in the province reached 979/3,862 billion VND, reaching 25.4% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Tax sector to urge, guide, and supervise enterprises to fully declare all arising amounts; step up propaganda of tax policies; urge taxpayers to implement decisions after inspection, strengthen debt settlement...

The Provincial Party Standing Committee gave opinions on the province's programs and plans in the coming time: visiting and giving gifts to soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district and DK-1 rig in 2024; Contents of organizing the Provincial Cultural Conference, draft Plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to deploy a wide-ranging political and ideological activity on the content of the work "Building and developing a comprehensive and modern Vietnamese foreign affairs and diplomacy imbued with the identity of "Vietnamese bamboo" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; the proposal to the Prime Minister, Head of the Central Propaganda Department to award a Certificate of Merit for studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2024; draft Decision and Plan of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to inspect the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of Project No. 02-DA/TU dated May 23, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on continuing to innovate the content and methods of operation of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; implementing Resolution No. 48-NQ/TU dated November 15, 2021 of the Provincial Party Executive Committee (term XVII) on digital transformation of the province Tuyen Quang by 2025, vision to 2030.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also gave direct comments on the draft Plan of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to implement Conclusion No. 72-KL/TW dated February 23, 2024 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 13-NQ/TW dated January 16, 2012 of the 11th Party Central Committee on building a synchronous infrastructure to basically turn our country into a modern industrialized country; the draft Summary Report on 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW dated June 9, 2014 of the 11th Party Central Committee on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development.
