Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh praised the 86th Command for its good coordination with agencies and units to conduct surveys, grasp the current status of infrastructure, service applications and the needs of agencies and units in the entire army to develop a draft plan for data centers in the Ministry of National Defense. In order to soon put data centers into operation to serve the direction, command and management in the Ministry of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh requested the 86th Command to absorb the comments of agencies and units at the conference, continue to revise, supplement and perfect the planning. In particular, it is necessary to closely follow the contents of the Digital Transformation Project approved by the Central Military Commission Standing Committee; classify data into groups for management, storage and exploitation with each specific goal, requirement and object; infrastructure planning must be synchronized with the addition and completion of institutions, organizations, payrolls and policies, ensuring legality and feasibility.

According to the report at the conference, the draft planning has been developed by Command 86 in coordination with relevant agencies and units in a synchronous and modern direction, in accordance with the Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation, the Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in cyberspace; planning and roadmap for developing service applications and databases; planning for inter-network connection gateways and the development of cyberspace combat forces in the entire army, meeting the requirements of the task of developing e-Government, digital transformation, and command automation in the Army.
