Reporting on the assessment of the preparations for the Party Congress of Military Region 9 at the conference, Lieutenant General Do Xuan Tung emphasized: Following the direction of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee and the guidance of the General Department of Politics , the preparations for the Party Congress of Military Region 9 were prepared seriously, closely, and in the correct order of steps in terms of documents, personnel plans, and congress organization plans under the direction of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee and the guidance of the General Department of Politics.

Previously, Lieutenant General Ho Van Thai, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Military Region 9, reported on the preparations and plans for the congress of the Military Region 9 Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Basically agreeing with the report of the Party Committee of Military Region 9 on the preparation for the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term; agreeing with the appraisal report of the General Department of Politics and the opinions of the agencies on the preparation for the congress; speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong emphasized: The documents submitted to the congress, especially the draft Political Report, were carefully prepared, with appropriate capacity, tight structure, and good quality. The personnel plan was carefully prepared, tight, and in accordance with the process; ensuring standards, quantity, and structure. The plan for organizing the Party Congress has specifically identified tasks, time, assigned executive and support agencies, and ensured the congress is tight, scientific , and appropriate.

In particular, it is necessary to thoroughly grasp the direction of General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission at the 14th Central Military Commission Conference, the draft Political Report of the Central Military Commission to be submitted to the 12th Party Congress of the Army; concretize the content of Resolution No. 57-NQ-TU, Resolution No. 59-NQ/TU, Resolution No. 66-NQ/TU and the Resolutions of the Central Military Commission to complete the draft Political Report.

Agreeing with the proposed time for the congress and the personnel plan prepared by the Party Committee of Military Region 9, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong noted that from now until the congress, the Party Committee of Military Region 9 needs to continue to review, do a good job of preparation and properly carry out the procedures and steps of personnel work in the congress so that the congress can elect according to principles and procedures and achieve good results, maintain stability, and strengthen solidarity and unity within the Party.

Along with preparing well the contents of the congress, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong requested the Party Committee of Military Region 9 to promote propaganda activities, compete to achieve achievements to welcome the Military Region Party Congress and the 12th Army Party Congress and activities towards the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.
