At the meeting, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh informed Mr. Thomas Gass about the outstanding results of his working trip to Switzerland on the occasion of accompanying Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to attend the 55th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos last January.

Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh asked Ambassador Thomas Gass to connect Swiss financial experts to support the city in building a financial center.

Chairman Le Trung Chinh expressed his wish that the ambassador would act as a bridge, promote and mobilize Swiss investors to survey and learn about investment opportunities in Da Nang in the fields of tourism , high technology, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, etc.

Ambassador Thomas Gass thanked the city leaders for their warm welcome and said Switzerland is ready to cooperate with Da Nang in the fields of finance, high-tech industry, services and tourism.

Ambassador Thomas Gass affirmed that he will act as a bridge to promote the development of cooperative relations between Vietnam and Switzerland, including Da Nang city in the coming time.
