According to an employee, the shop normally opens at 5am but today it was open from 3am because customers had asked to buy early. During the Dragon Boat Festival, the shop had to add more staff to serve customers.

Mr. Truong Vinh Hung (56 years old, District 5) said that he and his son had been in line for more than 15 minutes. “I came early but still had to wait in line. My family has a habit of offering roasted duck, roasted pork and summer fruits on the occasion of the Doan Ngo festival. Many places sell roasted duck but here it is delicious, so even though it is crowded, we still try to wait for it to be worth it,” he added.

Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Loan (66 years old, District 10) shows off the results after more than 30 minutes of waiting. “The roast duck here is delicious and has a unique flavor. Although the wait is quite long, I still feel it is worth the time spent,” Ms. Loan shared.

A representative of the security force said that due to the narrow road and the large number of people queuing, traffic jams were likely to occur. To ensure smooth traffic, the authorities were present early in the morning to coordinate and maintain order in the area.
