Tien Giang: Investigation into the cause of a young man being stabbed to death in front of the school gate

On December 30, Tien Giang Provincial Police said they were investigating the cause of a murder case that occurred in Cai Be district, leaving one person dead.

According to initial information, at around 10:30 a.m. on December 29, Nguyen Hoang T. (17 years old, residing in An Thai Trung commune, Cai Be district), currently a 12th grade student at Le Thanh Hien High School (An Huu commune, Cai Be district) had a conflict with another student. After that, this student asked Pham Huu Nhan (19 years old, residing in Than Cuu Nghia commune, Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province) to go to school to meet T. to "ask questions".

At the back gate of Le Thanh Hien High School, Nhan went to find male student T. to talk. Suddenly, T. used a homemade knife to stab Nhan in the chest, seriously injuring him and causing his death. According to the autopsy results, Nhan died from a heart wound.

After committing the crime, T. fled and was arrested by the police while hiding at a relative's house.

The case is being investigated and handled by Tien Giang provincial authorities.
