Midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc, currently playing for Phu Dong Ninh Binh Club and the Vietnamese national team, has accepted a special invitation from Man City Club.
That is to go to England to watch the derby match between two teams in the same city, Man United and Man City, in round 31 of the 2024-2025 Premier League at 10:30 p.m. on April 6. Along with that is a meeting and exchange with midfielder Gundogan.
However, due to being busy focusing on achieving the promotion goal with Phu Dong Ninh Binh Club, Hoang Duc was unable to go to England at the invitation of Man City Club.
Specifically, Phu Dong Ninh Binh Club will host Ba Ria - Vung Tau at home in round 13 of the First Division at 6pm on April 6. Currently, Hoang Duc's team is dominating the top of the rankings with 11 wins, 9 points ahead of the second-placed team, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc.

Man City Club still invites Hoang Duc to England next May, at the end of the 2024-2025 Premier League season.
However, this is also the time when Phu Dong Ninh Binh Club enters an important stage for the promotion goal, so it is not easy for the current "Silver Ball of Vietnam 2024" to arrange to participate. Because Hoang Duc is an important player in the playing style that coach Nguyen Viet Thang built for the team.
Not to mention Phu Dong Ninh Binh Club just suffered its first defeat in the 2024-2025 season, when it lost to host B.Binh Duong in the quarter-finals of the 2024-2025 National Cup on March 29. Therefore, coach Nguyen Viet Thang and his team cannot be complacent.
If Phu Dong Ninh Binh Club can be promoted to V-League at least 3 rounds early, Hoang Duc will be able to go to England in time to watch the final round of the 2024-2025 Premier League between Fulham and Man City on May 25.
Talking about the reason why Man City FC invited Hoang Duc, his representative said the English team only sent an invitation but did not give a specific reason.
This representative said: "Man City Club invited, Hoang Duc will attend if he can arrange it, but if he is busy with a match schedule, we will make another appointment. We are looking for a suitable time, and we still have to apply for a visa to go to England."
