Previously, due to the depletion of blood reserves and the increase in the number of patients needing blood transfusions, Lao Cai General Hospital No. 2 issued a notice calling on people to donate blood directly at the hospital for emergency and treatment.

Voluntary blood donation is a noble gesture.

With the message "The lives and health of many patients depend on the timely voluntary blood donation of each of us", the call quickly spread strongly on social networks and received positive responses from individuals, organizations and groups.

Many civil servants, public employees and armed forces participated in blood donation.

The amount of blood donated directly has contributed to saving the lives of many patients in critical condition, especially emergency cases, surgeries and cancer patients who need blood to continue chemotherapy... We highly appreciate and thank the noble hearts of the volunteers who enthusiastically responded to the call for blood donation to save lives. We hope that the spirit of voluntary blood donation will continue to spread widely in the community. Our hospital is committed to using blood resources effectively, promptly and for the right purpose to save lives.

Doctor Pham Van Thinh, Director of Lao Cai Provincial General Hospital No. 2

Donated blood saves the lives of many patients in critical condition.

Despite the response from many volunteers, the blood supply at the Provincial General Hospital is still not enough to meet the needs of emergency and treatment, so volunteers are in great need of direct blood donations. The hospital accepts blood every day of the week, at any time.

Every drop of blood given, a life saved. Donating blood to save lives is a noble act, demonstrating a sense of responsibility to the community.

Volunteers who want to donate blood can contact Dr. Tran Thi Hao, Testing Center, Lao Cai General Hospital No. 2, phone number: 0985610686 for detailed instructions.
