Received more than 500 units of blood from the Voluntary Blood Donation program in Nho Quan

On August 24, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Nho Quan district organized the 2023 Voluntary Blood Donation Program with the theme "Sharing blood to give hope".

The voluntary blood donation session attracted a large number of volunteers including civil servants, public employees, workers and local people to register to participate.

Although the number of volunteers participating was quite large, with the reasonable arrangement and management of the Mobilization Committee, the work of welcoming and guiding volunteers to complete the procedures before donating blood was carried out smoothly, ensuring all requirements were met. As a result, the Provincial General Hospital received 556 units of blood from the blood donated by 522 volunteers.

Voluntary blood donation is a meaningful and deeply humane activity of volunteers in Nho Quan district to share drops of blood to contribute to bringing life, hope and happiness to patients in need of blood in emergency and treatment.

At the program, 8 groups and 28 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the District Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee. Volunteers also participated in writing a guestbook to record memories of this meaningful blood donation day.
