"Soldiers' Blood Drops" Festival received more than 720 units of blood

DNO - Major Bui Anh Duc, Head of the Youth Department of Da Nang City Police, said that the 2025 voluntary blood donation festival "Red drops for soldiers" organized by the City Police on the morning of August 12 received 723 units of blood, exceeding the set target.

The blood donation activity took place simultaneously at two locations: City Police Hall (No. 43 Ly Tu Trong, Hai Chau Ward) and City Police Clinic No. 02 (N24 Street, Tam Ky Ward).

As a result, the festival received 723 units of blood (at the City Police Hall received 577 units of blood, at Infirmary No. 02 received 146 units of blood), exceeding the planned target by more than 200 units of blood.

The festival is held to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Through the activity, it contributes to promoting the tradition of solidarity and mutual love in the community; especially promoting and honoring the noble act of voluntary blood donation among officers, soldiers and youth union members of the City Police.
