At 4 a.m., in the kitchen area of the Sop Cop District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities, more than 60 youth union members and border guards gathered to cook breakfast for more than 300 candidates taking the exam in Sop Cop District. Hot breakfast meals were delivered to each candidate.
Receiving breakfast from volunteers, Lo Thi Yen, a candidate from Sop Cop District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities, said: I found the meals very delicious, I chose fried rice and canned milk. In addition, I was also supported with lunch and dinner, free meals to help me ensure my health and reduce expenses during the exam. I will try my best to do well on the exam.
Mr. Lo Van Tung, Secretary of the Youth Union of Sop Cop Commune, Sop Cop District, said: During this exam support period, the Youth Union organized meetings with volunteer teams to deploy support plans. Scientifically and appropriately divided shifts to promptly support and assist candidates and parents on each exam day, ensuring that there are always volunteers ready to assist when situations arise.
Moc Chau Town is one of the localities with the largest number of exam sites with more than 1,300 candidates at 5 exam sites, including: Moc Ly High School; Chieng Son High School; Thao Nguyen High School; Tan Lap High School and Moc Chau Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities. Ms. Pham Tu Uyen, Secretary of Moc Chau Town Youth Union, shared: The Town Youth Union has implemented the program "Supporting exam season" to support candidates; connecting with mass organizations, youth union bases to directly cook rice, support breakfast and lunch for students in difficult circumstances and students who live far from home and come to stay at the school.
During the exam, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee mobilized nearly 1,000 volunteers to support 38 high school exam sites in the province. Volunteers were assigned to specialized teams including: Traffic guidance and control teams; water supply and snack distribution; logistics - first aid; free motorbike taxis and psychological support, inspiring candidates positively. Before the campaign, 100% of volunteers were trained in skills to handle emergency situations due to natural disasters or support candidates in special cases, communication, behavior, civility, etc.
Ms. Bui Thi Thu Phuong, Head of the School Youth Committee, Provincial Youth Union, informed: The new point in this year's "Supporting the Exam Season" program is that the Provincial Youth Union has built and put into use the "Electronic Information Portal to support candidates", fully integrating necessary content such as exam scores, lists of free and cheap accommodation, restaurants that ensure hygiene and safety, bus and bus station information along with emergency support points. Thereby, helping students to look up information quickly, accurately and conveniently right on their personal devices.
Mobilizing social resources, during the 3 days of the exam (June 25, 26 and 27), the provincial Youth Union will support nearly 10,000 bottles of water, 5,000 snacks, 4,000 cold towels, thousands of raincoats, pens, and hand fans. Support 250 free and low-cost accommodations for candidates in difficult circumstances in remote areas... with a total cost of more than 500 million VND.
The Youth Union of the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Police, teachers of kindergartens and primary schools, women's associations of communes and people also actively cooperated to support the exam season. In many schools in difficult areas, volunteers organized cooking and distributed free meals to candidates living far away and candidates in difficult circumstances. Supported and found accommodation for candidates and their families; supported free food and drinks at the exam sites; arranged and cleaned exam rooms; encouraged candidates to stay calm and confident to do well on the exam...
Mr. Vu A Di, parent of candidate Vu Cao Nguyen, Co Ma High School, Thuan Chau District, shared: The volunteers enthusiastically and thoughtfully guided parents about parking and waiting places for the children during the exam and encouraged us a lot. I feel less nervous and worried, I hope my child will be calm, confident, and achieve high results.
Supporting students in difficult circumstances, carefully preparing plans, ensuring human resources at each examination site, exam support activities of agencies, units, mass organizations and philanthropists in the province have been spreading, helping candidates enter the 2025 high school graduation exam calmly, confidently and achieve high results.
