(kontumtv.vn) – On the afternoon of November 29, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association held a ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Kon Tum Provincial Literature and Arts Association. Attending the ceremony was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Y Ngoc.

Kon Tum Provincial Literature and Arts Association was established on December 14, 1994. Over the past 30 years, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association has achieved many important achievements. The Association has 145 members specializing in literature, music , photography, fine arts, folk arts... of which 4 artists have been awarded the title of Meritorious Artist and Meritorious Artisan. The work of nurturing and developing talents in literature and arts is focused on. The field of literary and artistic creation is increasingly developing strongly, many works have won regional and national awards. Thereby, contributing to arousing and promoting the historical values and fine traditions of the nation and fighting against false information, sabotage of the Party and State, and division of the great national unity bloc by hostile forces, building Kon Tum homeland to develop sustainably.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Y Ngoc requested the Provincial Literature and Arts Association to effectively implement Conclusion No. 84 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 23 of the 10th Politburo on "Continuing to build and develop literature and arts in the new period". The focus is on innovating the method of operation; practically celebrating important anniversaries of the province, the country and the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; expanding exchanges, cooperation, strengthening connections with domestic cultural and artistic organizations; preparing to organize the 7th Congress of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association for the 2025-2030 term in accordance with regulations. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested artists to continue to create many valuable works; all levels and sectors to coordinate and create favorable conditions for literary and artistic activities.

On this occasion, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association was honored to receive a banner with the words "Kon Tum Provincial Literature and Arts Association: Solidarity - Creativity - Development" from the Provincial Party Executive Committee; 8 collectives and individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee Chairman for their outstanding achievements in the Association's work, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of Kon Tum province./.
