On July 31, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee led by Comrade Le Thanh Van - Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee visited the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Vinh Long province and Venerable Son Ngoc Huynh - Member of the Executive Council of the VBS, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the VBS in Vinh Long province, abbot of Hanh Phuc Tang Pagoda (Trung Thanh commune).

At each destination, Comrade Le Thanh Van provided general information on the operations of Party and State agencies, the two-level local government model, and the results of socio -economic development, national defense and security.
After the merger, Vinh Long province has many advantages and opportunities to develop many fields, continuing to improve the material and spiritual life of the people. Among the great achievements of Vinh Long province in recent times, there are contributions from people of all religions, including Buddhists. At the same time, congratulate the success of the first conference of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province after the merger, elect key leaders and approve the list of personnel of the new Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Vinh Long province (term 2022 - 2027).
Comrade Le Thanh Van hopes that the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, religious organizations, monks, nuns and Buddhist followers will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, live a "good life, good religion", actively accompany the authorities at all levels in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and protecting national security.
Effectively deploy and replicate social security models and programs to help people in difficult circumstances. The Provincial Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha continues to be a bridge to record the reflections, recommendations, thoughts and legitimate aspirations of the people and Buddhists, thereby contributing to the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to successfully fulfill its assigned duties and tasks.

The Venerables thanked the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee for their attention to Buddhist activities and the lives of Buddhist followers.
Expressing their joy and excitement about the Party's policy on merging provinces and implementing a two-level local government model, the Venerables said they will continue to encourage Buddhists to promote the tradition of solidarity, stand side by side with the nation, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, carry out social security work well, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality.
