The timely intervention of Mobile Police Battalion No. 4 contributed to minimizing damage after floods; promoting the pioneering role of the armed forces in helping people of Cam Duong ward overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
According to a quick report from the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Cam Duong Ward, heavy rain did not cause any human casualties, but damaged a level 4 warehouse in residential group Cong Truong 5 and caused a landslide behind a household's house in residential group 15 (old Bac Cuong Ward).

Many electrical appliances and household items of 159 households in groups 28 and 29 (old Pom Han ward), and residential area Cong Truong 5 (old Cam Duong commune) were flooded by rising water from Ngoi Duong stream, causing mud to flow into their houses.
Regarding production, about 8 hectares of newly planted rice were deeply flooded, over 70% buried in mud; water flooded fish ponds of 11 households; about 2,000 poultry were swept away.
The total damage caused by natural disasters in Cam Duong ward is estimated at about 3 billion VND. Currently, local forces are actively supporting people to overcome the consequences.

Immediately upon receiving the news about the flood situation in the area of Group 28, 29, 30 (Cam Duong Ward), Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Hoai, Commander and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Tien, Political Commissar of the Defense Command of Area 1 - Cam Duong directly commanded 30 officers, soldiers and 28 comrades of the regular militia platoon to quickly mobilize forces and vehicles to the area, promptly coordinating with local Party committees, authorities and other forces to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Here, officers and soldiers participated in clearing rocks and soil, dredging drainage ditches, reinforcing fences and roofs, clearing waterways, and helping people transport their belongings to safety.
Despite heavy rain, slippery roads, and difficult tasks, with the spirit of "wherever the people need, there are soldiers", each officer and soldier raised their determination, acted promptly and effectively, maintained strict discipline, and ensured absolute safety in carrying out their tasks.
