Looking for more forces for shooting in Ho Chi Minh City

That is the wish and desire to popularize shooting to many people of the veteran of the Vi Xuyen battlefield in the past - Mr. Le Hai Vu, the founder of Saigon Sniper. With that desire, in 2014, Mr. Vu officially moved Saigon Sniper to Nguyen Binh Khiem Sports Club, located at 25 Nguyen Binh Khiem, Ben Nghe, District 1 (HCMC) with a scale of 10 shooting platforms.

Saigon Sniper opens a new branch with a larger scale and more modern facilities.

After a period of perseverance with its mission, in 2022, Saigon Sniper has changed with a completely new look towards youthfulness, dynamism, increasing the experience for players, and a new way of communication that really gets closer to young people.

After nearly 11 years of operation, Saigon Sniper has launched its second “brainchild” when it opened a new branch, located at 8 Phan Dang Luu, Ward 14, Binh Thanh District (HCMC) with a larger scale and more modern facilities. In the coming time, Saigon Sniper will continue to standardize the socialization model, improve the quality of enrollment, training quality, competition quality and expand the sports shooting community to become a chain of sports shooting systems in Vietnam; select and train coaches and instructors to improve the quality of experience and teaching, and improve competition results.

The Club will cooperate with the Ho Chi Minh City Shooting Federation to build useful programs for those who love shooting in the City.

Along with that, the Club continues to build effective communication channels, helping to connect to the community better, diversifying customer groups; building a Sniper community in Ho Chi Minh City, participating in volunteer activities, contributing to building a green, clean, and beautiful life; working with junior high schools, high schools, colleges, universities, businesses, and agencies to train in sports shooting, build short-term training sessions, organize annual sports events; invest in more types of guns, diversely designed shooting targets; expand the F&B service area, souvenir and fashion shopping area; open another branch in Ho Chi Minh City in 2024.

Ms. Huynh Phuong Loan - General Secretary of the Vietnam Shooting Federation said: “Saigon Sniper is the largest air gun shooting club in Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general. This is a model that needs to be replicated in other provinces and cities across the country so that the Vietnamese shooting movement can be further developed. I hope that the club will further connect with the Ho Chi Minh City Shooting Federation and the Vietnam Shooting Federation to build and design programs for shooting enthusiasts in Ho Chi Minh City to exchange with many other clubs across the country. On this occasion, I also wish the club to achieve the 3 set goals, the most important of which is to ensure that this is the cradle for selecting and training young, talented athletes for shooting in Ho Chi Minh City”.

Over the past time, the Club has continuously recruited, trained and provided forces for City shooting.

Over the past 10 years, the young people of Saigon Sniper - the successor class, with the knowledge foundation of shooting guided by Mr. Hai Vu, have gradually improved, modernized, and digitized the activities of the Club. With the advantage of technology and communication, using modern tools and means, widely promoting, reaching more young people with a passion for shooting, popularizing this sport more widely with many customer groups in all regions of the country.

Saigon Sniper's mission, in addition to popularizing sport shooting to many people, is to select and train a team of students who not only understand sport shooting, but also to form a separate shooting team of Saigon Sniper Club and of Ho Chi Minh City. Saigon Sniper is a typical example in using social resources to develop high achievements. The Club has recruited, trained and provided the City team with dozens of potential shooting athletes, participating in competitions and winning medals at national and international tournaments.
