In November, VNG launched the “Inner U” campaign with the message Embrace the Inner U, to help employees regain balance in work and personal life, thereby building a positive and healthy living and working environment.
With the mission of “Developing People”, VNG recognizes that the mental health of employees is a factor that needs to be focused on, especially in a field that is subject to great and frequent pressure like technology. Mental health not only helps individuals overcome challenges but also plays an important role in performance and commitment at work. McKinsey's 2023 study shows that companies that provide mental health care programs are always welcomed and appreciated by employees because they feel secure and supported.
Therefore, the Inner U campaign was born with the goal of raising awareness about the importance of mental health, guiding Starters to think positively as well as changing and eliminating habits that can harm personal emotions.

Specifically, during the period of October-November 2024, the campaign includes a series of multi-channel content to convey open perspectives and useful advice to employees, helping them find solutions to reconcile their problems. In particular, an offline "healing" event will take place right at the VNG Campus headquarters on November 8, promising to bring an open space with many rich activities, including a "healing" workshop to participate in making sand paintings and scented candles; taking a mental health test with a psychologist and interacting with singer Kai Dinh - an artist actively participating in community projects to nurture emotions within each person.
Continuous investment in Human Development activities is VNG's commitment on the journey to become "The best place for people to work, learn and grow". In fact, VNG employees are always given the opportunity to balance their personal and work lives. After the Covid pandemic, the company continues to diversify its working forms, allowing employees to register to work remotely with an appropriate allocation ratio. This helps improve employee morale while still ensuring work efficiency. In addition, employees can also participate in physical training activities right at the company such as swimming, gym, jogging, etc., which not only help employees improve their health but also enhance interpersonal communication.
Previously, in 2023, VNG successfully launched the #VNGPalette diversity campaign, attracting 1 million views across platforms, aiming to build a creative working environment that respects individual personality on the basis of reconciling differences. Thanks to regular and in-depth corporate culture building activities based on listening to employee needs, VNG currently has 17% of employees who have been with the company for over 10 years, higher than the average of 12-15% in Southeast Asia.
VNG currently has nearly 4,000 employees with nearly 20 different nationalities, working in offices in 11 cities around the world. VNG's human resources structure is quite diverse, with GenZ accounting for nearly half (44%) and the average age is just over 30.
In 2023, VNG is honored to be ranked 25th in the large enterprise category (with over 500 employees) and is one of 3 Vietnamese enterprises in the list of Top 200 enterprises with the best working environment in Asia, according to Great Place to Work ®. Enterprises in the Top 200 Asia must be outstanding representatives who have been ranked in the list of Best Workplaces in that country. |
