Lam Dong Province (new) tests commune-level government operations

On the afternoon of June 23, 6 new wards and communes of Lam Dong province (new) including: Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, Duc Trong commune, Phu Thuy ward, Ham Thuan commune, Nam Gia Nghia ward and Kien Duc commune had a trial operation, handling administrative procedures to serve people and businesses before officially operating from July 1.

The pilot operation contents include the organization and operation of the Party Committee at the commune level; the organization and operation of the People's Council at the commune level and the organization and operation of the People's Committee at the commune level related to receiving, handling and returning administrative procedure results at the Public Administration Service Center at the commune level and the provincial online connection.

In Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat (established on the basis of rearranging wards 1, 2, 3, 4 and 10 of Da Lat City), people have tested administrative procedures directly connected with Lam Dong province (new).

Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam said that with 6 new communes and wards being put into trial operation today, it is an extremely important transitional stage. This is not only a technical stepping stone to get acquainted with the new model, but also a practical opportunity for agencies, units and localities to proactively perfect their organization and apparatus, and at the same time, it is a test of the management capacity, coordination between departments, branches, unions, new commune-level authorities and to handle any problems before all 124 communes, wards and special zones officially come into stable operation.

The entire trial operation process in localities was closely monitored: broadcast live to the main bridges of the 3 Provincial Party Committee Offices so that the Standing Committees of the Provincial Party Committees of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan , and Dak Nong provinces could monitor and evaluate.

The conference was broadcast live to 124 commune, ward and special zone points after arrangement.

Here, the stages are also recorded and the results are archived. At the end of the trial, the localities directly operating are responsible for reporting a summary of all stages, coordinating and proposing solutions to complete the preparation and operation stages.

Previously, from the morning of June 23, people in wards 1, 2, 3, 4 and 10 of Da Lat City (merged into Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat) went to the Xuan Huong Ward Public Administration Service Center to carry out administrative procedures of the old ward. Here, procedures such as: land, tax, environmental resources, justice... took place normally, without any disruption.

Lam Dong Province (new) was merged from 3 provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong, the political center is located in the current city of Da Lat. After the arrangement, the whole province has 124 administrative units including 103 communes, 20 wards, 1 special zone. Lam Dong Province after the arrangement has a natural area of ​​over 24,000 ^km2 (the largest in the country) and a population of over 3.8 million people (ranked 10th in the country).
