Notably: The work of reviewing and completing the dossiers and lists of martyrs; verifying, concluding the area, creating a map to search and collect martyrs' remains in the province was carried out strictly, seriously, in accordance with the process and completed the first phase, which was highly appreciated by the National Steering Committee 515. Received and processed information about 67 martyrs' graves buried in the province; organized the exhumation and handover of 6 martyrs' remains in accordance with regulations.
Directed the strict and effective implementation of the work of identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information; identified the remains of 1,015 martyrs who died in Laos, and returned 1,352 biological samples of martyrs' remains that had been sampled for DNA testing and stored in the gene bank.
At the conference, delegates discussed and agreed on the direction and tasks for the coming time. Accordingly, in the coming years, the work of searching for, collecting martyrs' remains in the area, in Laos and identifying martyrs' remains still lacks information, and is forecasted to have many difficulties; especially information about the remaining martyrs' graves, which are mainly scattered in remote areas, with difficult roads, many martyrs' graves have been there for a long time, eroded by floods, sedimentation, and changing terrain; there are not many witnesses who can provide information, they are old and weak, and their memory is reduced; the number of martyrs' remains lacking information is still quite large, the work of archiving records and information is not highly accurate; many remains have decomposed and are not qualified for appraisal; some martyrs have no relatives to take control samples for DNA appraisal...
The Provincial Steering Committee 515 determined to strive to basically complete the task of searching for and collecting the maximum number of martyrs' remains that have been reported abroad by 2030; maintain an average of searching and collecting 70 to 80 martyrs' remains each year; strive to identify over 90% of the collected remains; update and complete the records of the area's conclusions, create a map of the search and collection of martyrs' remains in phase 2 to ensure progress; proactively improve the qualifications of cadres and employees and ensure adequate facilities, means and equipment to carry out the task.

To perform its tasks well, the Steering Committee 515 of Nghe An province needs to focus on directing the implementation of a number of contents, focusing on: Continuing to thoroughly grasp the policies of the Party and State, documents, regulations and instructions of all levels. Effectively organizing the implementation of groups of solutions to search, collect and identify the remains of martyrs with missing information; regularly improving and promoting the role and responsibility of the Steering Committee 515 of the province, specialized agencies at all levels; raising awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and units in deploying and organizing the implementation. Paying attention to taking care of, ensuring timely and complete regimes and policies for the forces performing the task of searching and collecting the remains of martyrs. At the conference, the People's Committee of Nghe An province awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 groups and 13 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of searching, collecting and identifying the remains of martyrs with missing information in the period of 2021-2025 and the dry season of 2024-2025.
