According to Mr. Tran Viet Cuong, Director of Phu Tho Department of Home Affairs, the recruitment demand of enterprises by the end of 2025 is very large, estimated to exceed 40,000 people. Particularly, 26 Korean enterprises in Phu Tho province have a need to recruit 4,930 workers, mainly unskilled workers doing simple jobs in the fields of textiles, footwear, electronic components manufacturing, and construction materials.
The report of the Department of Home Affairs also pointed out that the number of enterprises and the scale of labor use by enterprises are increasing; the situation of "job-hopping" of employees is still quite common because many enterprises have inadequate treatment policies, not attractive enough to retain employees.

The activities of the Employment Exchanges under the Provincial Employment Service Centers and the results of labor supply through licensed labor supply enterprises have not met the requirements of the labor market; basically, the units operate individually, without connection in the process of sourcing, selecting, and supplying labor.
The conference received 15 comments from representatives of the Korean Business Association, the Provincial Employment Service Center and labor supply units on the current labor shortage at Korean enterprises operating in Phu Tho. Representatives of Korean enterprises raised many suggestions to the province and received specific responses and instructions from specialized agencies.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu affirmed: This conference lays the foundation for close, long-term cooperation between the province and the Korean Business Association, creating a premise for building, forming and developing a close, sustainable and effective cooperation mechanism.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant parties to implement many synchronous solutions. The Department of Home Affairs continues to implement solutions to support businesses in recruitment, ensuring the quantity and quality of labor; regularly monitor the employment situation, advise on plans and projects for human resource development, and create a harmonious and sustainable working environment.
The Management Board of Industrial Parks and the Investment Promotion and Business Support Center need to closely coordinate and accompany businesses in implementing labor laws.
