The situation is reversed for Savinho

Manchester City have agreed a contract extension with Savinho, securing his long-term future at the club.

On September 25, Savinho scored to help Man City beat Huddersfield 2-0 in the League Cup round of 32.

According to The Times , the Etihad team succeeded in keeping the Brazilian winger with a 6-year contract, valid until June 2031. This decision was made after Savinho almost left Manchester City this summer.

Savinho's agent has even almost completed transfer negotiations with Tottenham, with City willing to let their player leave for £67 million. Once Savinho leaves, City will make an offer for Real Madrid striker Rodrygo.

However, at the last minute, the Man City board changed their mind, they highly appreciated the potential of the Brazilian player. Last year, Man City spent 35 million pounds to sign Savinho. During his time at the Etihad Stadium, Savinho scored 4 goals and had 13 assists in 50 matches.
