VHO - The President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace in coordination with the Consulate General in Khon Keng, Thailand organized a series of activities about President Ho Chi Minh in Thailand.

The series of activities aims to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), implementing Conclusion No. 85-KL/TW dated August 19, 2020 of the Secretariat on continuing to carry out activities honoring President Ho Chi Minh abroad; Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the 12th Politburo "On promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; 80th anniversary of the tradition day of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Sector (August 28, 2025).

The series of activities contributes to making Thai people better understand President Ho Chi Minh , the country and people of Vietnam.

Accordingly, the exhibition of paintings, photos and documents of Ho Chi Minh - Symbol of the era, bridge of friendship between Vietnam and Thailand opening on August 28 with More than 250 documents, images and documentaries introducing the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh - Vietnamese national liberation hero, outstanding cultural figure, worthy of the evaluation and recognition of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

In particular, the exhibition introduces in detail the time Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh worked in Thailand on his journey to find a way to save the country and liberate the nation. In any historical period, he always built and fostered the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Thailand.

The exhibition includes 05 main contents:

Part 1: The journey to find a way to save the country and his mark in Thailand includes images and documents about Nguyen Tat Thanh - Nguyen Ai Quoc on the journey to find a way to save the country (1911-1930); Documents and images about the time Uncle Ho worked in Thailand (1928-1929); Uncle Ho's journey of work in Thailand and Southeast Asia.

Part 2: National liberation leader, building independence (1930-1945): including images and documents about the process of Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh preparing and leading the August Revolution, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (August 1945); the National Day event on September 2, 1945; documents, letters, and appeals from President Ho Chi Minh to compatriots and overseas Vietnamese, including overseas Vietnamese in Thailand.

Experience exchange activities between the Relic Site and localities in Thailand

Part 3: Leading the people to build the country and protect national independence (1945 - 1969) includes images of the founding of the first people's democratic state in Southeast Asia, building a people's government system; long-term resistance war to protect national independence (1945 - 1954); building and protecting the socialist North, while carrying out the people's national democratic revolution in the South, unifying the country (1954 - 1969); documents, letters, and appeals of President Ho Chi Minh to compatriots and overseas Vietnamese, including overseas Vietnamese in Thailand.

Part 4: Ho Chi Minh with international solidarity and Vietnam - Thailand friendship includes images and documents about President Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic activities, building friendship with people of other countries, including Thailand; Thai delegations visiting Vietnam, visiting the Presidential Palace Relic Site; Cultural exchange events, friendship between the two countries; paintings, photos, documents about Ho Chi Minh relics and statues in Thailand.

Part 5: Ho Chi Minh lives forever in the hearts of the Vietnamese people, international friends and the Vietnamese community in Thailand, including images and documents about relics and works named after Ho Chi Minh in the country, especially the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace - where he spent the longest time during his journey of 79 springs - the last 15 years of his life; Some works and memorial statues of President Ho Chi Minh in other countries - where the development of solidarity, peace and friendship among peoples in the world converge; impressions of heads of state, politicians and domestic and foreign guests writing about President Ho Chi Minh.

In addition, there are also paintings, photos, and artifacts of the Vietnamese community in Thailand about Uncle Ho; Children's paintings about Uncle Ho, articles and feelings of students and images of learning activities, following the ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh in Thailand.

From August 26-27, there were activities of planting souvenir trees, donating Uncle Ho's Bookcase and discussing professional expertise at Uncle Ho's Relic Sites in the two provinces of Udon Thani and Nakhon Phanom.

The souvenir tree planted is a “Buddha tree” grown from a tree in the Ho Chi Minh Monument Site, Hanoi. The tree was named by Uncle Ho when he saw the roots emerging from the ground like the shape of a “Buddha” so that our people could easily remember it.

In addition, there are more than 300 books and publications about Uncle Ho in Vietnamese, Thai and English selected by the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site to display and serve readers at the relics of Uncle Ho in Thailand, with the desire to carry out a project to honor the Vietnamese language with touching stories, bringing profound meanings about Uncle Ho to overseas Vietnamese, especially teenagers and children.

Leaders of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace also exchanged professional expertise on the work of preserving and promoting the heritage values ​​left by the beloved Uncle Ho in Thailand with the desire to best serve overseas Vietnamese, Thai people and international friends.

The series of activities contributed to making Thai people understand more about President Ho Chi Minh, the country and people of Vietnam; helping the Vietnamese community in Thailand love their homeland and thereby deepening and tightening the solidarity, friendship and understanding between the people of Vietnam and Thailand.
