organize a series of practical activities during Workers' Month 2025

Kinhtedothi - During the Workers' Month 2025 (May 2025), the Hanoi Trade Union will organize a conference to meet and dialogue between the Chairman of the City People's Committee and workers; honor excellent workers in the capital; and give gifts to workers and families of workers who have had work-related accidents.

Pursuant to Plan No. 192/KH-TLĐ dated February 24, 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) on organizing activities for Workers' Month in 2025, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City VGCL issued a Plan to organize activities for Workers' Month in 2025.

To implement the theme: "Vietnamese workers pioneer in entering the new era" of Workers' Month 2025, the Hanoi Labor Confederation requires that the organization of Workers' Month must create a strong spread and attention of the whole society - especially employers and authorities at all levels - to the jobs, lives and issues of workers.

During the Workers' Month 2025, a number of activities will take place in Hanoi, such as the program "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era", in which the emulation movement to improve qualifications, professional knowledge and skills will continue to be effectively implemented; encouraging union members and workers to innovate, have many initiatives, improve techniques, apply modern technology in production, contributing to increasing labor productivity, work efficiency, and improving business efficiency.

Organize the “Creative Labor Festival 2025”, competitions to propose ideas, initiatives, and technical solutions to innovate production processes; save raw materials, fuel, time, and labor; new methods and good models in modern business management; and content and methods of trade union activities at the grassroots level.

Honor and commend workers with achievements in labor and production with many initiatives and creativity; high achievements in skilled worker competitions...

At the same time, in the Workers' Month of 2025, the program "Dialogue in May" will also take place; the program "Thanking workers" will also take place through caring for, supporting, and showing gratitude to workers (visiting, giving gifts, giving shopping vouchers; praising workers for their efforts to overcome difficulties, exemplary workers, workers with many years of experience, etc.). Organizing the launching of worker cultural activity points, trade union activity points, trade union relaxation corners, Ho Chi Minh cultural space, etc.

At the city level, the City Labor Federation coordinated to organize the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025, commemorating the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025); organized a conference to meet and dialogue between the Chairman of the City People's Committee and workers in 2025;

Organize to honor excellent workers of the Capital in 2025; disseminate knowledge, provide health examination and consultation - reproductive health care for workers in industrial parks and export processing zones.

Notably, the City Trade Union will organize a conference to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; commend advanced models among union members and workers in the capital who study and follow Uncle Ho. Organize activities to commemorate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

In addition, the City Labor Federation organized events to disseminate labor laws and the Capital Law to workers in industrial and export processing zones in Hanoi, areas with many worker dormitories; gave gifts to workers, families of workers who had work accidents, workers with occupational diseases. Visited and gave gifts to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
