The launching ceremony of workers' month will take place on April 18, 2025.

Kinhtedothi - Hanoi People's Committee issued Plan No. 61/KH-UBND on Organizing the Action Month on Labor Safety and Hygiene and Workers' Month in 2025.

The purpose is to create a highlight in communication activities, raise awareness and compliance with occupational safety and health laws, and promote specific action programs on preventing occupational accidents and diseases (OADs) at all levels, sectors and localities.

Raising awareness and responsibility of the whole society in caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests, improving the living and working conditions of workers, honoring and promoting workers in the new development stage of the country.

Promoting the immortal spirit of International Labor Day 1/5, doing better in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers; promoting the attention of Party committees, authorities, political systems, business owners and the whole society in building a modern, strong Vietnamese working class and a strong Vietnamese Trade Union organization.

The plan requires organizing the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health and the Month of Workers in conjunction with activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025), the 71st anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025); the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh 's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and activities to celebrate Party Committees at all levels widely, practically and effectively.

Time of organization: From May 1, 2025 to May 31, 2025. Covering the entire city.

Theme of the 2025 Occupational Safety and Health Action Month: "Strengthening assessment and identification of hazards and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health at the workplace".

Theme of Workers' Month 2025: "Vietnamese Workers Pioneer Entering the New Era".

The launching ceremony of the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health and the Workers' Month 2025 is effective and practical (expected to be held on April 18, 2025 at Phung Khac Khoan flower garden, Lien Quan town, Thach That district, Hanoi with a scale of about 1,000 delegates).
