Power Generation Corporation 1 promptly supported 400 million VND for people in flood-hit Tuong Duong area.

Joining the delegation, on the side of Tuong Duong district was Mr. Nguyen Huu Hien - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee; on the side of Ban Ve Hydropower Company was Mr. Ta Huu Hung - Director.

Huu Khuong and Nhon Mai communes are remote areas with poor transportation. They have just experienced heavy rains that caused landslides, local isolation and seriously affected the daily lives of local people on the night of May 29 and early morning of May 30. In response to the severe damage in these two communes, EVNGENCO1 promptly supported each commune with 200 million VND, in order to help the locality overcome immediate difficulties and stabilize the lives of local people.

Accompanying the program, Khe Bo Hydropower Plant - a member unit under Power Generation Corporation 1 also supported 50 million VND, demonstrating the spirit of mutual love, solidarity and attachment to the community where the unit is located.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Le Hai Dang - General Director of Power Generation Corporation 1 emphasized: We are always aware of the role and responsibility of the enterprise towards the community, especially in localities with many difficulties. Natural disasters are unpredictable, but timely sharing can give people more strength to overcome difficult times. EVNGENCO1 hopes that this support will partly help people stabilize their lives and soon restore production.
