The announcement ceremony of the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025 took place on the afternoon of August 4. The tournament gathered 150 of the best golfers in the country, including professional golfers of Vietnamese nationality and amateur athletes with a handicap index no higher than 5.0 (men) and 10.0 (women).
The players compete in a 72-hole stroke play format (4 rounds of 18 holes each). After the first 36 holes, the organizers will make the cut, selecting the 50 best male golfers and 12 best female golfers to advance to the final 2 rounds to compete for the championship.
The tournament promises to be exciting, with the highlight being the competition of national athletes such as Nguyen Anh Minh, defending champion Nguyen Duc Son... in addition to the participation of Vietnamese beauty queens and beauties.
The total prize fund this year is 1.2 billion VND, of which 1 billion VND is for the men's division and 200 million VND is for the women's division. The men's division champion receives 180 million VND, while the women's division champion receives 60 million VND.
