Organizing Mid-Autumn Festival in the French Republic

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued Decision No. 3346/QD – BVHTTDL on organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival in the French Republic.

Pursuant to Decision No. 570/QD-BVHTTDL dated March 1, 2024 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism promulgating the Regulations on foreign affairs activities of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; At the request of the Director of the Department of International Cooperation and the Director of the Vietnam Cultural Center in France;... The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued a Decision to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival in the French Republic.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism allows the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France to coordinate with Associations and Unions in France to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival in the French Republic, including opening activities, folk games of the three regions, art programs, introduction of some traditional crafts, introduction of Vietnamese cuisine and Mid-Autumn Festival feast.

Mid-Autumn Festival in the French Republic will take place at 3 locations:

In Lyon and its vicinity, the Mid-Autumn Festival is expected to take place from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Villeurbanne City Cultural Center Hall, 234 cours Émile Zola 69100 Villeurbanne. It is expected that there will be about 800 attendees, including teenagers and children (under 15 years old) of the Vietnamese community in Lyon and its vicinity; representatives of local authorities, Vietnamese representative agencies in France, parents of children, French friends, etc.

In Paris and its vicinity, the Mid-Autumn Festival is expected to take place from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France, 19 Albert Street, 75013 Paris. It is expected that there will be about 1,500 attendees, including teenagers and children (under 15 years old) of the Vietnamese community in Paris and its vicinity; children of Vietnamese representative agencies in France along with their parents; representatives of the 13th District government and French friends who love Vietnamese culture in Paris and its vicinity.

In Brittany, the Mid-Autumn Festival is expected to take place from 11:00 to 18:30, Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Brittany City Exhibition Park (Parc Exposition, chemin Feil Vitre 35500 Brittany). It is expected that there will be about 900 participants, including: teenagers and children (under 15 years old) of the Vietnamese community in Brittany and their parents; Vietnamese representative agencies in France; representatives of local authorities and French friends in the region who love Vietnam.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires the Vietnamese Cultural Center in France to be responsible for the content of the organization and ensure compliance with the laws and regulations of the host country./.
