Discussion on the role of unions in building happy schools

On July 17, at Nha Trang University, the University Trade Union under the Emulation Block No. 4 of the Vietnam Education Trade Union organized a discussion program with the theme "The role of trade unions in building happy schools". The program had the participation of 130 delegates from 15 higher education institutions nationwide.

At the seminar, delegates discussed the concept of "Happy University", where managers, lecturers, staff and students all feel satisfied, connected, respected, listened to and have the opportunity to develop their expertise and capacity. At the same time, they discussed the role of trade unions in promoting an effectiveeducational environment; shared the results of organizing activities towards the goal of building happy schools; solutions to build a happy school model such as: Ensuring rights and benefits for civil servants, creating material and legal security; improving spiritual life, promoting cohesion among members of the school; building a democratic, transparent and professional working environment; organizing career development activities, aiming at long-term and sustainable development for union members... On that basis, contributing to spreading effective operating models to higher education institutions nationwide.
