Seminar on building and developing cultural and creative industrial zones and complexes in Ha Long City

On February 7, the Department of Culture and Sports organized a seminar on "Building and developing cultural and creative industrial zones and complexes in Ha Long City". Attending the seminar were comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation. Also attending were representatives of units belonging to departments, ministries, branches, central agencies; leaders of Ha Long City and experts and scientists .

In order to unlock resources and make breakthroughs in socio-economic development, Quang Ninh province has determined to focus resources on developing cultural industry, focusing on building a pilot project for cultural and creative industrial zones and complexes in Ha Long city.

The seminar "Building and developing cultural and creative industrial zones and complexes in Ha Long City" aims to analyze and evaluate the potential, advantages, favorable conditions and difficulties, thereby determining solutions and methods to implement the pilot construction of cultural and creative industrial zones and complexes in Ha Long City.

At the seminar, delegates, scientists and experts all highly appreciated Quang Ninh province as one of the leading localities in building the Project for developing cultural industries. Quang Ninh province in general and Ha Long city in particular have many potentials and advantages in terms of resources, infrastructure and resources to develop cultural industries. However, there needs to be innovative and breakthrough ideas in cultural industries that are connected together for development. Scientists and experts also shared solutions to gradually build local cultural industries, helping Ha Long city develop cultural industries in the future, such as: Plans and projects to organize mini live shows, build international theaters, build cultural spaces, and soon bring Ha Long city to join the Unesco creative city network.

Speaking at the seminar, Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, affirmed that Quang Ninh province always pays attention to the work of preserving and promoting cultural values, especially the orientation of developing cultural industry to become one of the focuses of socio-economic development in the province. The meaningful seminar program demonstrates the seriousness in implementing Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU, dated October 30, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on building and promoting cultural values, the strength of Quang Ninh people to become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development.

Through the discussion, he hoped that delegates and experts would have many valuable opinions to help Quang Ninh province assess the current situation and shortcomings in the development of cultural industry; suggest policy recommendations of the province to the Central Government; propose specific mechanisms, policies and solutions to the province. On the other hand, share more experiences in approaching new perceptions of sustainable development, new identification of cultural industry development. Thereby, gradually forming and building an outstanding development direction for the cultural sector of Quang Ninh.
