The Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province has just issued a document to rectify the collection activities at the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, requiring all public schools in the area to implement a unified school uniform.
Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training requires schools not to make their own uniforms, and not to have accessories such as ties, sleeve trims, collars or shoulder pads of different colors.
In addition, schools do not organize tailoring services or sell student clothing in any form.

The province currently has 510 primary schools from grades 1 to 12, with a total of about 440,000 students, who will wear the same uniform. The decision was made by the Department of Education and Training to help parents reduce the financial burden at the beginning of the school year. In addition, students from different schools can wear each other's uniforms, creating favorable conditions for reusing old uniforms.
For some schools in the area (formerly Ninh Thuan province) that already have their own uniforms, the education sector also informed that students at these schools are still allowed to continue using their old uniforms without having to buy new ones.
The provincial Department of Education and Training also requires schools not to organize the sale of textbooks, notebooks, and learning materials, but only to notify parents to purchase them themselves. Schools are not allowed to take advantage of the name of the Parents' Association to collect fees outside of regulations.
