Overview of Park City project that was recently requested by Hanoi City Inspectorate to report and withdraw documents

Recently, the Hanoi Inspectorate requested the Hanoi Department of Construction and the Hanoi Department of Finance to report and provide documents and files related to the implementation of the Le Trong Tan New Urban Area Project (Park City). This was done according to the conclusion of the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption and negativity.

Recently, the Hanoi Inspectorate requested the Hanoi Department of Construction and the Hanoi Department of Finance to report and provide documents and records related to the implementation of the Le Trong Tan New Urban Area project (Park City), invested by Vietnam International Urban Development Joint Stock Company (VIDC).

This is carried out in accordance with Plan No. 5737/KH-TTTTP dated November 14, 2023 of the City Inspectorate, on implementing Plan No. 320/KH-UBND dated October 5, 2023 of the Hanoi People's Committee regarding the implementation of the conclusion of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption and Negativity on the results of the inspection of leadership, direction, and organization of the work of detecting, transferring, receiving, and handling denunciations and reports of crimes, and recommending prosecution of cases with signs of corruption, economic crimes, and negativity.

This includes reviewing compliance with regulations on management and use of state assets and land management at the Park City project, invested by VIDC.

On January 9, 2024, the Hanoi City Inspectorate issued Documents No. 148/TTTP-P6 and No. 148/TTTP-P6, requesting the Department of Finance and the Department of Construction to report in writing and provide the Park City project documents, no later than January 16, 2024.

However, as of February 5, 2024, the Hanoi Inspectorate has not yet received reports and documents from the Department of Finance and the Department of Construction. Therefore, the Hanoi Inspectorate continues to issue Document No. 594/TTTP-P6, urging the Department of Construction and the Department of Finance to promptly report and provide documents and records related to the project.

Park City project is located on the administrative boundaries of La Khe and Yen Nghia wards (Ha Dong district, Hanoi).

This is a project with a scale of about 77.4 hectares, with a planned population of about 23,000 people.

On November 10, 2015, Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 6077/QD-UBND approving the overall adjustment of the detailed planning of the Park City project.

It is noteworthy that the 1/500 scale planning of the Park City project does not have a 20% land fund to build social housing.

Some land plots in the project are still vacant.
