The special national monument of Po Nagar Tower was built from the 8th to the 13th century, and is a typical work of architecture and sculpture of the Cham people.
Not only famous for its many unique landscapes, Khanh Hoa is also known as the land of Agarwood, depicting the pride of a precious product that has been painstakingly exploited and processed by humans. Through the flow of time and history, the profession of exploiting and processing agarwood in Khanh Hoa is still preserved, passed down, maintained, and developed by the people, creating the famous Khanh Hoa agarwood brand, reaching far and wide across the country. Agarwood workers have honored the goddess Po Nagar - Thien YA Na Thanh Mau as the founder of the profession.
The simultaneous organization of the ranking of the Po Nagar Tower as a special national monument and the national intangible cultural heritage of Khanh Hoa Agarwood Exploitation and Processing Knowledge is an important milestone, an honor for two long-standing cultural heritages, closely associated with the lives of local residents, a source of local pride, contributing to promoting the image of a beautiful Khanh Hoa, rich in cultural identity to domestic and foreign friends.
