1.8 thousand tons of household waste left at the garbage receiving point in Trang Dai ward, Bien Hoa city

(DN) - Sonadezi Environment Joint Stock Company said that as of May 27, at the garbage receiving point in Trang Dai ward, Bien Hoa city, there were about 1,800 tons of household waste.

According to the company's explanation, the contract between the Bien Hoa City Public Service Management Board and the company determined that the average volume transported to Quang Trung Waste Treatment Area (Thong Nhat District) is 410 tons/day, from January 1, 2025. However, from February 2025, Quang Trung Waste Treatment Area announced that it would only accept a maximum of 390 tons/day, leading to a backlog of household waste here. At present, Quang Trung Waste Treatment Area cannot increase the volume of waste received, so the amount of waste accumulated each day is increasing.

The company recommends that the Bien Hoa City Public Service Management Board confirm the status of domestic waste at Trang Dai garbage collection point until the time of implementation of the 2-level government to facilitate the handover of this garbage collection point to the new commune-level government.
